Privacy Policy

The shortest privacy policy on the internet: we collect nothing.

Last updated Aug 17, 2026
TL;DR: No accounts. No tracking cookies. No analytics that identify you. No license plates. No location data. If you use the "use my location" tool, your coordinates stay on your device.

1. What we collect

Nothing. This site has no user accounts, no login, no newsletter signup, and no forms that ask for personal information. We do not collect, store, or sell your name, email, IP address, license plate number, or location.

2. Cookies & tracking

We do not set tracking cookies and do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. (If advertising is added later, this policy will be updated and clearly marked.)

3. The "use my location" tool

The location lookup on our homepage uses your browser's geolocation. Your coordinates are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere. You can deny location access and still use the site.

4. What we publish

All data on FlockWatch is public reporting about Flock Safety cameras — locations, incidents, bans and legislation. Every entry links to its original public source. We never publish information about identifiable individuals.

5. Third-party links

Our pages link to news outlets, government records and tools like Have I Been Flocked. Those sites have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for them.

6. Contact

Why it matters: this site exists to expose surveillance — it would be absurd for it to surveil you. Privacy by design isn't a feature here; it's the whole point.
